Inspirés d’histoires “vraies” médiatisées, vécues ou entendues, les enfants ont écrit et réalisés ensemble deux films courts construits autour d’élements hors-champ, en jouant avec le cadre, la lumière et le bruitage pour faire exister des élements invisibles.
L’atelier a été l’occasion de se questionner sur les images et leur manipulation, sur la construction de récits, et sur le rapport entre réalité et fabrication qui est en jeu en permanence au cinéma mais aussi dans les images qui font notre réalité, celles des médias et des réseaux sociaux.
Inspired by mediated"true" stories they were told, the children wrote and directed together two short films built around off-screen elements, playing with the frame, the light and the sound effects to make invisible elements exist.
The workshop was an opportunity to question images and their manipulation, the construction of narratives, and the relationship between reality and fabrication that is constantly at stake in cinema but also in the images that make up our reality, those of the medias and social networks.

L’atelier a été l’occasion de se questionner sur les images et leur manipulation, sur la construction de récits, et sur le rapport entre réalité et fabrication qui est en jeu en permanence au cinéma mais aussi dans les images qui font notre réalité, celles des médias et des réseaux sociaux.

La troupe du workshop Œuvrer oblique est partie sur la piste des gestes symboliques qui modifient en profondeur les œuvres en train de se faire. Durant une semaine, les participant·es, encadrant·es inclus·es, se sont livré·es dans la forêt de Fontainebleau à un atelier d’expérimentation sur le geste cérémonial. Tour à tour, le collège formé des artistes en présence s’est penché sur les problématiques de création de chacun de ses membres afin de déterminer la meilleure méthode de transmutation de leurs travaux. Cérémonies organisées ou spontanées, individuelles ou en rassemblements organiques, expériences immersives pensées par le groupe à destination d’une personne, ou encore invitation d’un·e artiste à habiter collectivement sa proposition sont venues se mêler à une ritualité quotidienne. Ces travaux ont été l’occasion d’un temps d’arrêt dans la production d’œuvres afin de creuser dans les dynamiques internes qui les constituent.
The “Œuvrer oblique” (Working obliquely) workshop group explored symbolic gestures that profoundly modify the works in progress. For a week, the participants gathered in the forest of Fontainebleau to experiment with ceremonial gestures. The group examined the creative problems of each of its members in order to determine the best method to help transmuting their work. Organized or spontaneous ceremonies, individual or in-organic gatherings, immersive experiences conceived by the group for one person, or even an invitation from one artist to collectively inhabit their proposal, all came together with daily rituals. These shared moments were an occasion for the participants to reflect on the internal dynamics of their creative processes.
